SayLive

SayLive vs ChatGPT Sites

A hosted site inside ChatGPT, or static files published through your own assistant.

TL;DR

ChatGPT Sites is in public beta on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, with a hosted URL and support for a database and object storage. It is the better fit if you need those data features. SayLive publishes static files for €99 once, with a form, versions, a review link, ZIP downloads and domain connection included.

ChatGPT Sites provides a hosted URL and lets you connect an apex domain or subdomain you already own, except in Enterprise workspaces at launch. If you already have an eligible plan, consider that option before buying another publishing tool. Usage limits depend on your plan during the beta.

Its scope goes beyond a static page: Sites can use a D1 relational database up to 10 GB and R2 object storage. SayLive does not run databases, user accounts or server code. That makes the difference between a static site and a builder a useful starting point for the choice.

For a site made of pages, images and browser JavaScript, SayLive keeps publication in your assistant and avoids a separate hosting account to manage. The €99 buys the form, versions, review link and domain connection as well as publishing. Our ChatGPT publishing guide covers that route.

Questions

Is sharing a ChatGPT canvas the same as publishing a site?

No. A shared canvas is a ChatGPT link, like a shared conversation, rather than a website on its own address. ChatGPT Sites provides a hosted URL. SayLive also publishes a site, through MCP; our MCP guide explains the connection to your assistant.

Can I export a ChatGPT Sites project?

The docs we read do not describe an export. That does not establish whether export is available or unavailable. SayLive explicitly lets you download any version as a ZIP, so you keep the static files your assistant produced.

What does €99 buy if I already have ChatGPT?

It buys SayLive publication, a contact form, versions and rollback, a review link with screenshots and connection of your own domain. The payment includes 150 publications, 50 MB of media, 25 form messages and 25 review tickets, with optional €19 top-ups: see the pricing details. Your assistant remains separate.
