TL;DR
Lovable is the best-known vibe-coding builder: it generates complete applications, database and login included, on a subscription with usage-based credits. SayLive does not generate anything: it publishes the static site your own agent built, for €99 once. If you need an application, Lovable is built for that. If you need a website, the backend it would generate is pure surface: cost that meters, and security that someone has to get right.
Lovable is the most visible of the AI app builders, and it earns the attention: you describe an application and it generates the whole thing, front end, database, login, hosting. It sells generation on a subscription with credits that vary by request, plus a metered cloud for the backend it creates. For building real software from a prompt, it is a serious tool.
SayLive starts from the opposite question: what does a small site actually need? Pages, photographs, a way to be contacted. Your own agent, the Claude or ChatGPT you already pay for, writes that site, and SayLive publishes it for one payment and receives the form messages for you. There is no backend in what you publish, because a site like this does not need one. The economics of not buying generation twice are spelled out in stop paying twice.
The structural difference is what carries the security record. A generated backend is a database, a login flow and access policies handed to someone who cannot audit them, and that has consequences on the public record: in 2025, missing row-level security in Lovable-generated schemas left more than 170 apps openly queryable (CVE-2025-48757); in February 2026 a researcher showed a Lovable-built app exposing the data of more than 18,000 students; and Guardio's April 2025 VibeScamming benchmark found it the easiest of the tested tools to talk into building phishing pages, after which Lovable partnered with Guardio and shipped a security scanner. None of this makes Lovable careless. It is the blast radius that generating backends carries, whoever generates them. A static site removes the class of failure: there is no database to leave open.

For a website, yes: your agent builds it, SayLive publishes it for €99 once, and there is no subscription. For an application with accounts and a database, no: that is Lovable's territory, and SayLive does not build apps at all.
Because the hard part of a backend is not writing it, it is proving who can read what. Row-level security left off in generated schemas was enough to expose more than 170 Lovable-built apps in 2025, and the pattern reappeared in 2026. The person prompting cannot audit what they cannot read. A static site sidesteps the class entirely: there is no database, no login and no server code in what SayLive publishes.
It needs one somewhere, and SayLive is that somewhere: your agent configures the form, SayLive receives the messages behind bot filtering, and they land in your inbox. It is included on every site, with a capital of 25 messages and a one-time top-up. You never run or secure any of it.
