Trust and safety

Report a site hosted on SayLive

If something we host is illegal or breaks our rules, tell us here. Anyone can, no account needed, and a person reads every report.

What happens next

  • We confirm we received it, if you leave an address.
  • A person examines it. Content that keeps causing harm while it is online goes first.
  • We write to you with what we decided and why, whichever way it goes.
  • If we were wrong, say so in reply and someone else looks again.

What we can and cannot do

SayLive hosts sites that our customers publish. We do not write them and we are not their author. What we can do about content is stop serving it, which is not the same as making it disappear from the internet: the same files can be published elsewhere, and only a court can order their author to do anything.

We never pass your report or your address to the person who published the site.

If someone is in danger

Contact the police first. Reporting to us does not replace it, and we will contact the authorities ourselves when a report suggests a threat to someone's life or safety.

Your details are optional. Without an address we cannot confirm we received this, nor tell you what we decided, but the report is looked at either way. If you are reporting child sexual abuse material, you never have to identify yourself.
