Refund Policy
SayLive gives you 30 free days to decide, then charges once. This policy says what we commit to if something goes wrong, and where a refund fits.
You decide before you pay
Every site starts with a 30-day free trial. No card, no charge. Your site is live during the trial, on a real address, with a small banner: you see the finished result before any money changes hands.
That trial is the moment to evaluate SayLive, and it is why this policy is short. Nothing obliges you to pay before you are satisfied, and nothing is charged if you never do.
What the payment buys, and when it is delivered
The one-time fee of €99 pays for putting your site online and for the permanent address it is served on. It is delivered immediately, at your request: you tell your assistant to publish, we put the files online, and the address answers. There is no subscription and nothing recurring to cancel.
What we are answerable for
This is worth stating plainly, because it decides what a refund is for. We are answerable for the publishing: your version goes online at the address announced, it stays served, a previous version can be put back in seconds, and your media, forms and redirects work as documented. If any of that fails, it is ours and we fix it.
We are not answerable for what your own AI assistant produced. You choose it, you instruct it, and the wording, the design and the structure of the site are the result of that conversation. A site you do not like is not a site that failed, and the free trial is there to show you the result before you pay for it.
When you buy human time from us, that changes for what you bought: a Quick audit, an Expert review or a Design sprint has a deliverable we owe you, and we stand behind it. Priority support buys you speed in the queue, not authorship of your site.
If something goes wrong, we fix it
Write to [email protected] within 14 days of payment, with the email address of your account, the address of the site and what went wrong. A person answers, usually within one working day, and we work in this order:
- we fix what broke and republish it, at no cost to you
- we roll your site back to a previous version, which takes seconds and is free
- we credit your account, so what comes next costs you nothing
- and where none of that puts it right, we refund the payment for that site
A refund is the last line of that list, not the first, and we decide it case by case. What we commit to is the outcome: a site you paid for is published and works as described.
Your right of withdrawal, if you are a consumer in the EU
As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a digital service. Two things about SayLive bear on it, and you can see both before you pay:
- publishing performs the service immediately, and it only ever happens at your express request: you decide when to publish, and you can do it after the free trial has shown you the result
- once a service has been fully performed with your prior consent, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that performance
This is what the free trial is for. It gives you 30 days to decide with the site actually live, before any payment: more than a withdrawal period gives you, and with the finished result in front of you. If you would rather not lose the right, wait: do not publish a paid site until you are sure.
Buying as a business
The right of withdrawal is a consumer right. If you buy as a business or as a professional, with or without a VAT number, it does not apply to your purchase. Our fix-it-first commitment above does: it is ours, and we hold it for every customer.
What is not refunded
- the free trial, because nothing was ever charged for it
- a top-up that has already been used: publications you spent, form messages or review tickets already collected on your behalf
- a site that works as described and was published at your request, where the reason for asking is that you changed your mind about the project
- the result your own assistant produced: the wording, the look or the structure of the site, which came out of your conversation with it and which the free trial showed you before you paid
- expert time already delivered, once the critique or the sprint has been handed over in your space
Domains
SayLive does not sell domain names. You buy yours from the registrar of your choice and remain its holder, so there is nothing for us to refund on it and nothing tying your name to us. Connecting a domain you own to your site is included in your purchase.
Before you dispute a payment with your bank
Write to us first: it is faster for you. A dispute opened with your bank takes weeks, and we answer it with the delivery record we keep for every site anyway, its publication log, its versions and the pages it served. An email to [email protected] is usually settled the same week.
