Publish
Where to publish the site your AI built?
One guide per assistant: what it hands you, the places the site can go, and the way to let the assistant publish it itself.

The same question, one assistant at a time
Every assistant can write a website now. Almost none of them host it, and the ones that do keep it on their own domain. So the question after "build me a site" is always the same: where does it go? The answer depends on what the assistant hands you, a page in the chat or files on your disk, and on whether it takes connectors.
Each guide below answers for one assistant, with the same rules as the comparisons: every vendor fact read at the source and dated, nothing attributed from memory, and a plain paragraph on when SayLive is the wrong answer.
The five places a site can go
- Inside the assistant, where it offers a Publish button: fast, free, on their domain
- A drag-and-drop host like Netlify Drop, where you bring the files
- A repository and a deploy platform, GitHub Pages or Vercel, for a project that lives in code
- A ZIP host like Just Publish, for a free link with a monthly upgrade
- A publishing connector like SayLive, where the assistant publishes the site itself over the Model Context Protocol, on a real address, for one payment
What SayLive is, in this list
SayLive does not build anything: your own assistant does. It is the last step, the one that takes the files from the conversation and puts them on yoursite.saylive.site or your own domain, for €99 once, with a contact form, a review link and versions. The same connector works in every assistant on this page, so the site does not belong to the chat that made it: what bring your own agent means.
Questions
Which assistant is the easiest to publish a website from?
Claude, because custom connectors are open on every plan, Free included, and its Publish button covers prototypes. ChatGPT and Le Chat come next: both take connectors, and ChatGPT Sites hosts on paid plans. Gemini and Cursor publish through their command-line or editor agents.
Do I have to pay for AI twice to publish a website?
No. The assistant you already pay for writes the site, and publishing is a separate, one-time step. That is the point of a connector: no second subscription for generation you already have.
Can I move a site from one assistant to another?
With SayLive, yes. The site, its versions and its brand memory belong to the site, not to the chat that made it. Add the connector in the new assistant and it picks up where the other left off.
