Publish a Le Chat website
Where to publish my Le Chat website?
The short answer, the four places the site can go, and the one where Le Chat does the publishing itself, Free plan included.
Short answer
A website written by Mistral's Le Chat is a set of static files, and Le Chat does not host it. To put the site on an address of its own you have four places: Netlify Drop and GitHub Pages if you handle the files yourself, Vercel for an application with a server, Just Publish for a free link from a ZIP, and a publishing connector like SayLive, which Le Chat accepts on every plan, Free included, and which lets it publish the site from the conversation for €99 once.
What Le Chat hands you
Le Chat writes the page in the conversation, previews it in Canvas and lets you copy or download the files. Nothing is online yet: a preview lives in the chat, a download lives on your disk, and publishing is the step that gives them an address.
What sets Le Chat apart is how open it is to connectors. Since September 2025 it accepts any remote MCP server, on every plan, so the publishing step can be Le Chat's own: no upload, no dashboard, a sentence in the chat.
Where a Le Chat website can go
| Option | Best for | What you get | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netlify Drop | Someone comfortable with files and DNS | Drag the exported folder into the browser and it is live on a netlify.app address. A free account keeps it, and you add your own domain and its certificate yourself. | Free plan at $0 |
| GitHub Pages or Vercel | A project you will keep developing in code, or an app that needs a server | A repository, a deploy pipeline and a real address, github.io or vercel.app, with your own domain on top. Vercel is the only option on this page that runs server code. | GitHub Pages: free, but not for a shop or an online business. Vercel: Hobby free for personal, non-commercial use, Pro from $20 a month |
| Just Publish | A free link now, with a cheap monthly upgrade | Upload a ZIP of the files. The free tier lives on a justpublish.site subdomain and is archived after 30 days without traffic; a custom domain needs the monthly plan. | Free, or $9 a month with a domain |
| SayLive | A real site for a business, published by Le Chat itself, paid once | Say "publish my site" and Le Chat puts it on yoursite.saylive.site, or on your own domain, included. A contact form, a review link with screenshots, versions and rollback, and every update is one more sentence to Le Chat. The same connector works in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Static sites only. | €99 once, after 30 days free |

Let Le Chat publish it: the SayLive connector
SayLive is a connector over the Model Context Protocol. Le Chat takes custom connectors on every plan, so once SayLive is added it has a publish tool, and the site goes from the conversation to a live address with no download and no deploy dashboard.
- In Le Chat, open Connectors, add a connector and choose the custom connector tab, then paste the SayLive address.
- Sign in or create your SayLive account in the window that opens. That is what links the two.
- Enable SayLive from the tools menu under the chat input, then ask Le Chat to build the site, or open the chat where it already did.
- Say "publish my site". Le Chat sends the files, SayLive checks them, and replies with the live address.
- To change anything later, ask Le Chat and say "publish" again. Every publish is a version you can roll back to.
Paste this to Le Chat
If the SayLive connector is available, publish this site with it and give me the live address. If it is not, stop and tell me: I will add it under Connectors with the address https://mcp.saylive.ai/mcp.
The connector address is https://mcp.saylive.ai/mcp. The docs cover every assistant.
When SayLive is the wrong answer
SayLive publishes static sites: pages, styles, scripts that run in the browser, images. If your Le Chat project needs accounts, a database or code that runs on a server, it is a web application, and Vercel or Netlify with a repository is the right home for it.
If all you need is a free link for a few weeks, a ZIP host does that. SayLive is for the moment a page becomes a site: an address of its own, a form that receives messages, versions, and the promise that nothing changes online until you say so.
A site published with SayLive stays yours as files: download any version as a ZIP and host it anywhere, any time.
Questions
Can Le Chat publish a website by itself?
Not on its own: Le Chat writes and previews the site, it does not host it. With a publishing connector such as SayLive added under Connectors, it publishes from the conversation: you say "publish my site" and get the live address back.
Does SayLive work with Le Chat?
Yes. Le Chat accepts custom MCP connectors on every plan since September 2025, Free included. Add SayLive once under Connectors, enable it in the conversation, and "publish my site" does the rest.
Do I need to export a ZIP from Le Chat?
Not with a connector. Le Chat sends the files to SayLive directly over the Model Context Protocol, and the site is live before you have opened a folder. A ZIP is only needed for the options where you upload the site yourself, like Netlify Drop or Just Publish.
What does it cost to publish a Le Chat website with SayLive?
€99 once, after a free 30-day trial during which the site is already online with a small banner. Hosting, your own domain, the contact form and updates through your assistant are included, and there is no subscription: the whole price is one line.
Free for 30 days. Two minutes, no credit card.
