The SayLive Prize 2026 is open: enter your site, win 1,000 EUR

One site per account, entries until 15 December or until the hundredth site is accepted, a 30-day public vote, and a person reads the votes before anyone is paid. Here is how it works.

TL;DR

From 1 October to 15 December 2026, anyone with a SayLive account can enter one site they own, published and online. Entries close earlier if the hundredth site is accepted before that. Voting opens to everyone the moment entries close and lasts 30 days, with a live count. The first prize is 1,000 EUR in cash once the contest reaches fifty entries, and 500 EUR of SayLive credit otherwise. A trial site that is accepted stays online 90 more days.

What the prize is

The SayLive Prize 2026 rewards the best site built with an assistant and published on SayLive. First prize: 1,000 EUR in cash, paid to the person behind the site, once the contest has reached fifty entries. Below fifty, the first prize is 500 EUR of SayLive credit.

The condition is written down rather than hidden because it is the honest version of a prize. We say the number the day we know the room. A hundred places are open, and the counter on the contest page says where it stands.

Who can enter

  • Anyone holding a SayLive account, one site per account
  • A site you own, published and online when you enter
  • Trial sites too: nothing to pay to take part
  • A site accepted into the contest, if it is on trial, stays online 90 more days

Every entry is read by a person before it appears. Being accepted is an editorial decision, not a right: a site that is a placeholder, a copy, or against the acceptable use does not enter, and its owner is told.

The four moments

  1. 1 October 2026: entries open. The field stays hidden while it fills, so nobody is seen longer for arriving first.
  2. 15 December 2026 at the latest: entries close, or earlier, the day the hundredth site is accepted. Between the two dates, a person reads each entry.
  3. The moment entries close: voting opens, for everyone, at the same instant. Every site starts on the same line, in front of an audience that has spent nothing yet.
  4. 30 days later: voting closes. On 14 January 2027 at the latest.
  5. Results: announced once a person has read the votes. No date is promised for that, on purpose.

How the vote works

Voting takes a SayLive account. That is not a wall we put up for the pleasure of it: it is the thing that makes a result mean something. Each account gets three votes for the whole contest, one per site at most, and a vote can be taken back and given to another site for as long as voting is open.

The count is public. From the day voting opens, every tile carries its number of votes, the field is sorted by them, and the three leading sites wear a badge. Bring your audience: the point of a public count is that people come back with a friend.

One thing the count is not: the verdict. The podium is set by a person after reading the votes, and until then no site is called a winner.

What keeps it fair

  • A vote that was bought, automated or cast from a manufactured account is cancelled, and the entry that benefited from it may be disqualified
  • The number of votes founds the ranking; it does not automatically constitute the verdict
  • Nobody is paid before the votes have been read
  • The full rules are on the contest page, section by section, and they are the text that binds

How to enter

  1. Have a site online on SayLive. If you have not built one yet, the trial gives you 30 days and a real address, and your assistant builds it in a conversation.
  2. Open the contest page and choose the site to enter. One sentence about it is optional.
  3. Wait for our verdict, then take the picture: your tile in the field is a screenshot you take from your dashboard, under My contests.
  4. From the day voting opens, go and get votes. The dashboard hands you texts to share, and the live count shows where you stand.

Before you enter, make the site good. The six guides are the craft SayLive hands your assistant, from the brief to the review before you publish, and the review is the one to run before a contest: what people vote for is the page, not the prompt.

Say this

Before I enter this site in a contest, review it as an art director: score typography, composition, hierarchy, motion, copy, anti-template, images and the accessibility floor from 0 to 3, fix the weakest point, re-score, and tell me the scores. Then publish it.

Frequently asked

Do I need a paid site to enter the SayLive Prize?

No. A site on the free trial can enter, as long as it is published and online. If it is accepted into the contest, it stays online 90 more days, with nothing to pay.

Can I vote without a SayLive account?

No. Voting takes an account, three votes per account for the whole contest and one per site at most. It is what makes the count mean something.

When are the results announced?

Once a person has read the votes, after voting closes, on 14 January 2027 at the latest. No date is promised for the announcement, deliberately: the podium is a decision, not a counter.

What if fewer than fifty sites enter?

The first prize is then 500 EUR of SayLive credit instead of 1,000 EUR in cash. The condition is on the contest page from the first day, and the counter shows where the field stands.
